Our site, with its rich industrial and craft background, and the South End’s recent influx of professionals in craft and design, has great opportunity for a missing link in support. The new redeveloped complex should not only match affordable working with affordable housing; it should foster community engagement and economic development by providing collaborative environments that allow people to create and connect, share knowledge, and in the end grow their social capital.
