A research project based on a 10-day travel studio in China. Completed at Wentworth Institute of Technology with Merna Haddad and Long Nguyen. The section below represents my major contribution at the study scale of the architectural threshold with a focus on street objects. Based on the individual study scales of the group, a proposal was made on what approach should be taken to increase the density of housing. Our approach was an evolution of the traditional vernacular architecture with a careful approach to protect quotidian practices.
